Why does my computer act weird on youtube?

For some reason, when i go to youtube to watch videos, it ONLY freezes the video screen and the internet window, nothing else; and i can still hear what ever is going on in the video. It NEVER happened until youtube changed the layout. How can I fix that?Why does my computer act weird on youtube?The cause of your problem is simple: your %26quot;cache%26quot;

memory %26amp; %26quot;temporary internet files%26quot; are nearly full.

This is especially true if you've been watching lots

of videos or playing a lot of games/music.

If you are experiencing either: A) slugglish loading

or buffering, B) that %26quot;spinning circle%26quot; looking like it

could seemingly go on forever, C) %26quot;choppy%26quot; videos

that start/stop/start/stop frequently, D) videos that

sometimes come to a complete freeze or perhaps

E) videos with good audio, but slow (or no) picture...

Exit out of YouTube (but not your browser) and do

one of the steps below. Afterwards, shutdown and

reboot. Not only will this %26quot;free up%26quot; your computer's

memory, everything will be %26quot;fresh%26quot;, and load faster:

DON'T FORGET TO SHUT DOWN AND REBOOT

AFTER DOING ONE OF THE ABOVE.

If you have other applications which are running at

the same time, those will slow down YouTube too.

If you have %26quot;Torrents%26quot;, you might want to consider

closing or uninstalling them. A couple people who

chose me as %26quot;Best Answer%26quot; wrote that everything

worked great after they'd uninstalled their Torrents.

For some reason, simply closing them didn't work.

Also, %26quot;Adblock Plus%26quot;, various Instant Messengers

and literally every %26quot;stupid video accelerator%26quot; under

the sun is known to interfere with YouTube.

Another thing you may want to consider is turning

off your anti-virus -- but only momentarily. As long

as you remain on YouTube (and do not wander off

to other websites), you will be okay, because you

cannot get a virus from YouTube. Why does my computer act weird on youtube?Hey Rachel,

Not quite sure how to fix that problem - although I will agree I hate the new you-tube.

It could be one of 2 things:

1) Your computer cannot cope with watching videos on you-tube (the new layout) and therefore is freezing up. The solution to this is upgrade your computer's RAM (memory) or by a new computer with a more efficient processor.

2) The videos your watching are very popular, and therefore buffering takes longer. This could be a result of your freezing. There isn't a solution to this. If this is the case, just watch videos early in the morning when no-one is on-line.

Its unlikely anyone can help - I suggest calling a computer man to see if he can be of further assistance.

JimWhy does my computer act weird on youtube?Just be patient. You Tube is aware of the problem and should be back on track in a few years or so....:(Why does my computer act weird on youtube?Restore your computer to a point where you could have watch the video and hear the music
